The first contemporary exhibition at the Hotel Garzonpl\u00e1za Art & Business Hotel\u2019s new contemporary art gallery Di\u00e1na Vereb\u00e9lyi, painter<\/b> will present his works to the public in Gy\u0151r.<\/p>\n

The exhibition, which runs from 15 July to 15 August, marks the opening event of a special arts programme: Garzonpl\u00e1za hosts contemporary art exhibitions on a monthly basis, where visitors can not only view the works on display but also purchase them via the online auction system.<\/p>\n

The Garzonpl\u00e1za is not a traditional gallery, but a living, constantly active hotel space. The four-star hotel, with 71 rooms, is situated in a busy part of Gy\u0151r, next to Gy\u0151r Pl\u00e1za, the county hospital and McDonald\u2019s.<\/p>

The works on display are therefore not shown in a closed gallery space with restricted opening hours, but in an environment where hotel guests, business travellers, local residents and art lovers can encounter them on a daily basis.<\/p>

Di\u00e1na Vereb\u00e9lyi, known by her stage name V\u00e9Dia<\/b>, born in Kazincbarcika in 1987. He completed his studies in Miskolc and Ny\u00edregyh\u00e1za: she obtained her school-leaving certificate at the E\u00f6tv\u00f6s J\u00f3zsef Secondary School of Art, then trained as a ceramist, and later graduated from Ny\u00edregyh\u00e1za College with a degree in drawing and visual communication.<\/p>

His artistic career began at a young age: in 2005, he won the main prize in the J\u00f3zsef Attila Competition, and in 2009, his work was recognised with the Mih\u00e1ly Gubis Prize. He has been a member of the National Association of Hungarian Creative Artists since 2012.<\/p>

He has been living and working in Szentendre since 2007, in a town that is one of the key centres of the Hungarian art scene, steeped in tradition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Di\u00e1na Vereb\u00e9lyi\u2019s art is often described in specialist reviews as having a constructivist approach. Structure, form, rhythm, space and internal composition play an important role in her works.<\/p>

His works are not mere depictions. His painting is, rather, the result of a conceptual and visual construction in which colours, planes, forms and materials each carry their own meaning.<\/p>

His artistic world is also linked to the intersections of painting, sculpture and ceramics.
