We would like to inform our anglers that our opening hours have changed:
Friday: 15:00 - 20:00
Saturday: 07:00 - 20:00
Sunday: 07:00 - 19:00
Fishing tickets are only available at the buffet, at a price of 2990 Ft.
Payment options: cash and credit card, during buffet opening hours.

Vámos Fish Pond and Events Centre

Host your friends or colleagues at village buffet prices. This is a place where you can really let go and get the maximum experience at a reasonable price.

The Csőrös hut can comfortably accommodate 50 people, with tables right on the lake shore for an idyllic panoramic view. Plate and cutlery rental is 1500 HUF per person, while the buffet is available at village prices. Keep the party going until morning!

If you don't have any ideas about music, we'll be happy to help you find the best DJ or gypsy band for your wedding. We can help with mood lighting and sound systems on site.

Pig slaughter

One of the most popular events at the Vamosszabadi Event Centre is the pig slaughter, which brings a traditional village atmosphere to the participants. During the event, visitors can learn about the pig slaughtering process and taste freshly prepared food. This communal experience is a great way to gather friends and family and to revive old traditions.

You be the king of the kettle!

Prepare a fishing leaf from the fish you catch, and if you're unlucky, leave the guts to us, you just make sure the seasoning is perfect and the guests are there! We can provide a kettle, gas bottle or hardwood on request.

Fishing competition

One of the highlights of the Vamosszabadi Event Centre is the fishing competition, which attracts a large number of visitors every year. Competitors can test their skills while enjoying the closeness of nature and the company of friends. The event is a great recreational opportunity not only for sports anglers but also for families.

Lakeside Flame Lounge

The lakeside bonfire restaurant at the Vamos Events Centre is a real gem of local hospitality. Set in a picturesque setting, the small stall offers fresh and crispy scones, which visitors can enjoy at one of the waterfront seating areas. The secret to the pancakes is the homemade dough and varied toppings, guaranteed to suit everyone's tastes.

The best thing however, is the staff. They are very friendly, helpful and make sure you have a wonderful stay.

Easy and free parking, nice room with minibar, kettle, good WiFi...and an indoor swimming pool where you can relax, which was highly appreciated. Very nice, cosy and modern hotel located in a suburb of Hungarian city Gyor located in a walkable distance from city center and the bus/train station. Breakfast in the morning and very convenient parking. Try the steak whiles you’re at it for dinner. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. The hotel is very clean. All guests confirmed the breakfast was excellent. They felt very comfortable during their stay.

The hotel stuff is very helpful and flexible. They helped me through the whole booking process very patiently and provided everything regarding my guest’s wishes.

What we found special about the breakfasts was a possibility to make your own fresh orange juice. Wellness is also great, it looks pretty new and it's very relaxing. There is a 24h McDonald's right outside the hotel and a shopping center (also very close). There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel with easy access to train station. The only thing we missed in our room was a bedside table.
